This is not going to work. Do you know why? It's because Al-Queda is not the IRA. The IRA was an organisation, the IRA planned, plotted, they had a strategy, a goal. Al-Queda is a loose network of people with a similar ideology. THERE IS NO-ONE TO FSCKING NEGOTIATE WITH!
NONE of the islamist clerics will want to negotiate, because they know they don't have any real power. The power they have over these millitants is little. The real power is wielded by the genocidal meme wedged firmly in the cerberal cortex of each and every islamic millitant.
They are not the soldiers or freedom fighters of the IRA, these people are insane. And you can't negotiate with the insane.
